According to several media publications, Niccol’s estimated net worth ranges between $100 million (about Rs 839 crore) and $120 million (almost Rs 1,000 crore).
As the Chipotle CEO, Niccol received an initial salary of $1.3 million in 2023, but his overall compensation soared to $22.5 million thanks to incentives and stock options. When he became the CEO of Starbucks in 2024, his income increased considerably. Its yearly salary was scheduled to be $1.6 million in September 2024. To compensate for his loss of Chipotle equity, he received a $10 million signing bonus and $75 million in stock options. Additionally, Niccol could earn over $9 million more to fulfill Starbucks’ incentives.

As to Bloomberg, Niccol could get a total salary of $113 million each year. Tim Cook of Apple and Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet, received $75 million in pay in 2024, while Niccol received an astounding $96 million in his first few months at Starbucks last year.
